Walthers announces the arrival of the eighth of ten authentic HO Scale Milwaukee Road cars, the 26-Seat Tap Lounge #172-173. Based on equipment from the 1955 Twin Cities Hiawatha, these new cars are being produced especially for Walthers 75th Anniversary.

Fast Facts: Milwaukee Road's fast moving Hiawathas provided speedy service for passengers traveling between Chicago and the Twin Cities. Designed to complement full diner and parlor car service, the 26-Seat Tap Lounge was a cozy place for passengers to relax with a light snack and cool beverage.

Features: This superbly detailed car is equipped with factory-installed electrical pickups, diecast knuckle couplers and correct eight-foot wheelbase Nystrom trucks with RP-25 wheels. It is handsomely painted in Milwaukee's distinctive maroon and orange colors, and comes complete with number decals. The car features the correct prototype length and underbody detail so a minimum 24" radius is recommended for operation.
