Kadee is located in White City, OR and has been in business since 1947. In the early 1960s Kadee began to manufacture their Magne-Matic Coupler in N scale. The company gradually added wheels, trucks and underframes. In 1972, they added a boxcar. Thus, Micro-Trains was formed as a division of Kadee, specializing in N scale model trains, Magne-Matic Couplers and accessories. In 1990, after years of growth and expansion, the business was divided.
