Pre-plan buildings with paper mock-ups. The HO Scale Planning Packet contains full-size drawings of wall sections. To use, make photocopies of wall sections, cut out the wall section you want and arrange into walls. Tape walls on cardboard, cut out cardboard and tape together to form a three-dimensional paper mock-up Modify mock-up until it is satisfactory, then purchase the required wall sections to construct your buildings.
