Rapido Trains Inc

Jason Shron founded Rapido Trains Inc. in 2003 and incorporated the company in 2004. Rapido Trains of Toronto, Ontario, Canada is named after Canadian National s top-rated Rapido passenger trains of the 1960s and 1970s. The company specializes in high-quality, ready-to-run models of passenger trains from the Pullman-Standard cars of the transition era to the futuristic TurboTrain of the 60s and 70s. Models come detailed with full interiors, lighting and underbody equipment including separate steam, air and electrical conduits. The TurboTrain runs on DC and DCC layouts and contains two powered locomotives, each one with a sound decoder and speaker. Rapido also produces detailed HO and N Scale freight cars and locomotives.
