USRA 4-6-2 Heavy Pacific - Sound and DCC - Paragon4™ -- Central Railroad of New Jersey #832 (Blue Comet, blue, graphite)

The N Scale Broadway Limited USRA Heavy 4-6-2 Pacific is patterned after steam locomotives built to United States Railway Administration designs. There were 20 original Heavy Pacifics built in 1919 for the USRA program, and all 20 went to Erie Railroad. Beginning in 1923, numerous copies were built, and many railroads operated similar locomotives. Heavy Pacifics had about 60,000lbs load per axle, restricting their use to lines built to heavy standards. This N Scale model features the common 10,000-gallon tender used on many USRA Pacific and Mikado locomotives. The N Scale Heavy Pacific model features full Paragon4 sound and DCC for realistic sound and motor control. The Paragon4 sound system works with all Broadway Limited Rolling Thunder(TM) advanced sound systems. Other features of this locomotive include a heavy die cast chassis, smooth-running flywheel-equipped drive, directional lighting and magnetic knuckle couplers. It can be operated on all DCC systems as well as on standard DC railroads (with limited sound functionality). It has wheels profiled to operate on Code 55 and larger rail and curves of 9-3/4" radius and larger are recommended. The USRA Heavy 4-6-2 Pacific is one of many Broadway Limited N Scale locomotives.
