Based on cars built to AAR standards thousands of these 40' boxcars operated across the continent into the 1980s. This car features a detailed injection-molded body, realistic decoration, prototypical door, end and roof details, separately-applied end ladders, wire grab irons, brake wheels and an etched-metal roofwalk. This ready-to-run 1937 AAR 40' Single-Door Boxcar is ready to run on your 3-rail O Scale railroad. It requires O-36 or larger curves and comes equipped with Bettendorf trucks and knuckle couplers.
