This Brekina HO Scale 1950s-1982 Checker Taxi Cab is based on the widely used North American taxicab sedan. This car comes decorated in one of many Checker Cab schemes (the taxi maker owned the taxi operations in several cities for a period) or in the schemes of other operators or police departments. Checker cabs retained the same body style for decades and the detailed Brekina model features the quad headlights used on the A12 Marathon used from the late 1950s through the end of production in 1982.
