35' Tank Car w/Magne-Matic Couplers -- Southern Pacific #60175 (black w/white lettering)

This black tank car with all white stenciling was built by General American Transportation Company in East Chicago, Illinois on March 16, 1942. With an 8,000 gallon capacity, the tank was tested July 11, 1962. The road had lines from Chicago, south to New Orleans, and west to San Francisco and Portland, Oregon. The Southern Pacific merged with Union Pacific on September 11, 1996. Includes Magne-Matic(R) Couplers.
