37' Trinity Cement Service Covered Hopper Kit -- Green Bay & Western

In the early 1980s, Greenville Steel Car Company introduced a new hopper for powdered materials. Cement proved to be too heavy for the car, so a slightly smaller version was created for cement service. This smaller car was also sold as a general-purpose covered hopper and can be found carrying plastic pellets, roofing granules, flour, grain and more. This HO Scale kit has a one-piece body with end ladders molded in place, separate hatches, a thin profile roofwalk and other add-on details. Working knuckle couplers and free-rolling trucks round out each kit.
