40' PS-1 Boxcar w/6' Youngstown Door -- Santa Fe "Route of the Chief" (Dark Boxcar Red)

One of the most popular box car designs. Welded steel construction kept most rolling into the 1980s. Each car is fully assembled, ready for service. Cars feature smooth-rolling, self-centering trucks and Kadee(R) Magne-Matic(R) metal couplers. Cars are the NMRA-recommended weight. Finely detailed handrails, ladders, stirrups, grab irons, see-through roofwalk, prototypical brakewheel and underbody details are all included. Models feature specific doors and brake gear to match their prototypes.
