40' PS-1 Boxcar with 7' Door - 3-Rail - Ready to Run - Premier -- Maine Central (green, Harvest Gold)

The AtlasO Premier 3-rail O Scale PS-1 Boxcar w/7' Door is based on the 40' boxcar which was one of the most popular freight cars used by railroads as they transitioned from steam to diesel. In particular the Pullman Standard or PS-1 design was one of the most popular and was widely used by North American railroads. Pullman had been making freight cars for more than half a century when it hit a home run with the PS-1. Introduced in 1947, it set the standard for postwar American freight cars. Features of this model include accurate details, applied metal grab irons/handrails, four-wheel trucks with free-rolling metal wheelsets, fine paint, crisp lettering and die cast knuckle couplers. Decorated in classic or later schemes, the PS-1 Boxcar w/7' Door is perfect for your 1940s to 1980s train consists. Check out the entire line of AtlasO freight cars.
