59' Cylindrical Covered Hopper - Trough Hatch Version -- Undecorated

These easy-to-build styrene kits have numerous add-on parts. Each is complete with trucks and step-by-step instructions, but does not include weights or couplers. Coupler pockets will accept InterMountain couplers and other brand of magnetic couplers. Introduced in 1972, these cylindrical hoppers are commonly known as "Canadian grain cars." Almost 20,000 were built for grain service throughout Canada, and the cars were frequent visitors to the United States.
