Alco FB1 - Standard DC - Master(TM) Silver -- Undecorated

This detailed Atlas Master Silver N Scale Alco FB1 locomotive is based on cab booster units introduced in the late 1940s, under a partnership from the American Locomotive Company (Alco) and General Electric. The FA series was Alco's foray into the market. The F designation meant their design and usage would be best suited for "freight," although the FA and matching FB1 "Booster" unit could be seen in service almost anywhere. Over 600, 400 of them being FAs, were built from 1946 to 1956. Many of these saw service for secondary owners as late as the 1970s. The FA1 and FB1 diesels will capture the rugged look on a road freight moving tonnage. This N Scale Alco FB1 features include a motor with dual flywheels, directional golden-white LED lighting, accurate decoration, and AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers.
