Alco-MLW FB-2 Phase II - Standard DC -- New York Central 3366 (Lightning Stripe, 2-Tone Gray)

The Rapido Trains HO Scale Alco-MLW FB-2 is based on cabless booster diesels built beginning in 1950 by the American Locomotive Co. and in Canada by licensee Montreal Locomotive Works (MLW). Packing the 12-cylinder 244 prime mover the units were offered in both freight FB-2 and passenger FPB-2 variations. The Rapido Trains HO Scale Alco-MLW FB-2 features prototypically accurate details including body type with correct phase detailing, roadname-specific detailing, etched-metal grilles and details, full underbody details, full cab interior, directional headlights and class lights. The smooth-running drive features a five-pole, skew-wound motor.
