Allegra Triebzug Class ABe 8/12 3-Unit Electric - Standard DC -- Rhaetian Railway RhB (Era VI 2009; red, silver)

Entering service on the famed Rhaetian Railroad (RhB) starting in October of 2009, 15 of the sleek and powerful "Allegra" ABe 8/12 three-unit electric multiple unit cars are now in operation on various routes, often pulling additional freight and passenger cars. Perfect for service on indoor or outdoor narrow gauge lines, these replicas feature a sturdy Buhler motor in each powered end car, and can easily pull additional equipment. Reversing LED headlights, a DCC connector, two general-purpose electrical sockets, traction tires and a multi-position selector switch for easy changeover to different types of electrical pickup are standard. All cars feature metal wheels and close coupling, along with superb details that include rear view mirrors, antennas, brake hoses, and snowplows, plus complete driver's compartments and interior details, easily seen and admired thanks to opening doors and working interior lighting.
