Diesel EMD SD35 - Powered w/Decoder -- Low Nose w/Decoder N&W #1550

Built to handle heavy freight work, EMD rolled out the first SD35 in June of 1964. A few of these 2500 horsepower units are still working today. Now, You can add these rugged freight haulers to your N Scale operations with these all-new Atlas models. Like other Atlas engines, these models will feature highly detailed bodies and reliable drives with five-pole skewed armature motors and a low friction mechanism. The models also feature blackened wheels, directional lighting and a full pilot with body-mounted Rapido couplers, which can easily be changed to Micro-Trains(R) #1015/1016 knuckle couplers, sold separately. Models in this series are equipped with a PC board, which can be replaced with a decoder-equipped board at any time.
