GE Dash 8-40CW (CR Style) - Standard DC - Master(R) Silver -- Canadian National #2179 (black, red, white, Website Noodle Logo)

This detailed Atlas HO Scale Master Silver GE Dash 8-40CW is modeled after 4,000-horsepower diesels introduced in the late 1980s for road service on several railroads, in the 2000s many changed hands as their original equipment leases were up and today can be found working for secondary owners. The CW designation indicates it has a crew comfort cab; predecessor Dash 8-40Cs had standard cabs. This Atlas model features details unique to each roadname and working ditch lights if appropriate. Other features include a five-pole skewed-armature motor with dual flywheels, directional LED lighting, all-metal magnetic knuckle couplers, accurate decoration and roadname-appropriate body details. Plenty of applied details and realistic decoration round out the detailed models. The sound-ready Dash 8-40CW comes equipped with a DCC socket for easy decoder installation when you're ready. This Dash 8-40CW is one of many Atlas and Trainman HO Scale locomotives.
