Paragon(TM) Series Steam J1 2-10-4 "Texas Type" - Powered - No Sound -- Pennsylvania RR #6170

The War Production Board's restrictions on new locomotive designs during W.W.II forced the PRR to test older engines to meet their dire need for locomotive power. They chose the 12-year-old C&O T1 2-10-4 and PRR J-1s were built by Lima. These locomotives continued in use until the late 1950s.
