Railroad Ready(tm) PS-1 50' Single Door Boxcar - Assembled -- Vermont Railway

These box cars are based on Pullman Standard PS-1s built from approximately 1960 to 1990. The cars came in numerous lengths (40 to 86") and many different arrangements of door, end and roof configurations. When roofwalks were banned due to safety reasons, railroads were required to remove them from existing box cars. LBF's Railroad Ready PS-1 cars accurately represent the modifications and feature no roofwalks and lowered 4-rung ladders. Many of these cars are still in use today.
