Standard Heavyweight Observation -- Southern "Crescent"

Built with all-steel construction (which gave them their nickname "heavyweights") these observation cars were the finest on rails in the 20s and 30s. Bring the era to life on your layout with these models, painted and lettered for some of the most colorful trains of the times. Each features a fully detailed interior with working lights, removable roof, operating vestibule doors, sprung trucks, detailed bodies and brass handrails. Because of their size, these cars should be operated on large radius curves.
