This Bowser Executive Line HO Scale Alco C424 is based on the 2400 horsepower catalog replacement to the earlier RS27 road switcher locomotive. Produced between April 1963 and May 1967, 183 examples of American and Canadian versions were built with several surviving in the 2020s as working diesels, excursion locomotives or museum pieces. This model includes lighting features and roadname-appropriate body features such as a low or high nose. Also included are factory-installed air hoses, windshield wipers, grab irons, coupler lift bars and window glazing. It's equipped with an operating headlight, can motor, dual flywheels, nickel silver wheels with RP25 flanges and knuckle couplers for smooth, reliable operation.
