Gambrel-roofed brick feed mills like the Walthers Cornerstone HO Scale Columbia Feed Mill were once common all across the continent, grinding grain grown locally, or shipped in by the boxcar load, into animal feed, then bagged and reloaded into customer's wagons or trucks. For additional storage, owners often had attached or freestanding buildings that conformed to the curvature of their siding or size and angle of their property. The kit includes a brick mill building with a loading dock and canopy, and a two-story wooden storage building. Parts come molded in appropriate colors and decals are included.
