Auto-Reversing System - E-Z Track® -- Nickel Silver Rail & Gray Roadbed

Whether for your first train set or for more advanced layouts Bachmann N Scale E-Z Track makes setting up easy. Each section combines track and roadbed into a single piece, with snap-fit assembly and plug-in wiring to provide instant railroad fun. A hidden locking feature holds sections securely together until you're ready to take them apart. Easy to set up on any surface, including floors and rugs, no special tools, nails or boards are needed. Low-oxidation nickel-silver rail is easy to keep clean and corrosion free with normal indoor use and gray roadbed is similar in appearance to the real thing. It's a great track system for Christmas displays or permanent layouts. As reference, 12 sections of curved 11-1/4", 12-1/2", 14" or 15-1/2" radius track make a full circle; 24 sections of curved 17-1/2" or 19" radius track make a full circle. The Bachmann N Scale electronic Reversing System E-Z Track set is the perfect solution for point-to-point passenger and freight transit on your layout. A variable speed controller lets you determine the speed of travel. Add-on reversing sections are also available. In use, your train will travel from one end of the track to the other, and once it passes a sensor it will reverse direction and run to the other end where the process will repeat - perfect for a point-to-point operation like a trolley. When extending your reversing track you must use reversing track sections (Nos. 160-44848 and 160-44849) which have specially wired sections.
