This detailed Atlas Master Gold EMD GP20 locomotive is based on the 2000-horsepower, four-axle road switcher built for several railroads in the 1960s. A few of the GP20 carbody units are still in service in 2018, although often their interior components may have been rebuilt or upgraded. This EMD GP20 N Scale replica comes equipped with a dual-mode ESU LokSound Select sound and DCC decoder with Full Throttle effects for operation on DCC and DC layouts, and features a motor with dual flywheels, directional LED lighting and AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers.
